PopSugar, the #1 lifestyle brand for young women, hosted their 3rd annual PopSugar Cabana Club at Coachella. In a one-day takeover of the Colony Palms Hotel (first year for this location), PopSugar produced exclusive events that provided attendees with the ultimate destination where music meets style. Prior to the party, PopSugar hosted an elegant VIP brunch with the Council of Fashion Designers of America, hosted by Emily Current and Meritt Elliott, the founders and creative directors of THE GREAT., and luxury accessories designer Clare Vivier of Clare V. Throughout the day, PopSugar Studios, the video production arm of PopSugar, established a mobile studio at the Colony Palms to capture style trends, report on fashion and beauty, and file celebrity interviews. Following the CFDA Brunch, The Cabana Club Pool Party was once again one of the hottest parties to attend while in the desert. With a lineup of fierce and fashionable DJs and a musical performance by Grammy Award-winning, multiplatinum recording artist Daya, revelers escaped the heat, savored specialty cocktails, and enjoyed stimulating poolside music throughout the afternoon. The event featured multiple poolside villas with hair styling, beauty DIY stations, social art installations, and a DIY PopSugar must-have gifting suite, as well as a PopSugar Studios social video moment. The PopSugar Studios pop-up activation allowed each festivalgoer to have a social media video director create a festival-themed shareable video for their social media accounts. PopSugar beauty reporter Kirbie Johnson was also on- site to create Snapchat stories live from the Ulta Beauty Cabana on PopSugar’s Snapchat channel.
