Test Out the new adidas AM4LA at their SPEEDFACTORY Lab Experience in Santa Monica on May 25 and 26

On May 25, adidas will release AM4LA, the first high performance running footwear made with Parley Ocean Plastic assembled at SPEEDFACTORY USA. To celebrate the launch, adidas is opening up a SPEEDFACTORY Lab Experience in Santa Monica, California for the public to get a glimpse of the future of creation with the brand and find out more about SPEEDFACTORY. Inside, guests will be able to receive custom, private footscan data to learn more about their running pattern, receive individual, shareable content tied to AM4LA, and test run with the shoe through various interactive experiences.

A result of a design challenge to create a more ecologically-conscious, high-performance footwear at SPEEDFACTORY, AM4LA is a marriage of creativity, data-driven design, and material innovation. Its minimalist design is developed from sports data and verified with runners of Los Angeles such as Diana Mireles to optimize performance through fit, movement, and comfort, while minimizing material wastage. AM4LA features a 100% recycled upper that contains Parley Ocean Plastic yarns (an eco-innovative alternative created from plastic debris retrieved from coastal areas before it enters the oceans.) Each pair of AM4LA shoes prevents an equivalent of 11 plastic bottles from entering the oceans. AM4LA goes on sale at the adidas Santa Monica store (1337A 3rd Street Promenade) and select Consortium retailers on May 25, 2018 for $200 USD. AM4LA will be available on adidas.com on June 2.
