This weekend during SXSW, Maestro Dobel Tequila and Hollywood event company A-List Communications hosted celebs and VIPs including Ethan Hawke, Tatiana Maslany and Elijah Wood for their corresponding film premiere parties at the Arts & Cinema Centre.

The Trust star Elijah Wood sipped on Maestro Dobel’s specialty cocktails as he chatted with producer Braxton Pope about their absent costar Nicholas Cage. Though promised to attend, Nicholas Cage was absent at the premiere of the film due to “sudden dizziness”. After a blood pressure check, it was recommended that he not board a plane.

The first day of events on Saturday, March 12, featured film premieres of The Other Half and In A Valley of Violence. Tatiana Maslany and boyfriend/co-star Tom Cullen snuggled on the red carpet at the premiere of their movie The Other Half, directed by Joey Klein. Later that evening, the Arts & Cinema Centre hosted the post premiere party for the western In a Valley of Violence as a playful Ethan Hawke with costar Toby Huss partied with others on the panoramic rooftop of the Summit venue with Maestro Dobel’s “Black Diamond Margaritas” as they overlooked downtown Austin in Texas.
