This year, Samsung returned to SXSW with its popular Samsung Studio experience offering fans access to exclusive events, unforgettable experiences, and special rewards for Samsung Galaxy owners to celebrate the launch of the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge. On Monday March 14th, Christopher Lloyd, Bella Thorne, Patrick Fugit, and Betsy Brandt were among the celebrities who had their portrait taken at the Getty Images SXSW Portrait Studio powered by Samsung.

Academy Award winning filmmaker Morgan Neville debuted the trailer for his new documentary short A Fighting Chance at The Samsung Studio. In addition, Mark Cuban joined Nischelle Turner and Samsung executives during SXSW to debut virtual reality content from NBA All-Star 2016. Throughout this whole week, some huge artists have been taking over the Samsung stage including Sia, Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz.
