Zhu, RL Grime, Claude VonStroke and More Surprise Fans at Do LaB Coachella Stage

For any Coachella newbie, the music festival encompasses several different stages that catered to a variety of music genres. However, one stage that never changes their tune is the Do LaB. Veteran festival attendees have been aware of this long-running art deco, electronic music stage since its conception in 2004. Some may have even called this stage a festival within a festival. Brothers Dede, Jesse and Josh Flemming created the Do LaB stage after they were asked to design an art installation for the festival, where it later turned into a mini music party equipped with speakers. The organizers of Coachella immediately took notice of the attraction and asked the brothers to create their own stage. Fourteen years later, the Do LaB stage is bigger than ever, with world-renowned international DJ’s lining up to mix the hottest electronic beats. This year at Coachella, the brothers pulled off major accomplishments by booking amazing DJ surprises for the die-hard Do LaB fans and newbies.

Weekend one saw surprise sets from DJs such as Ekali and RL Grime on Friday, April 13, 2018. The next day, The Martinez Brothers and Zhu came along to bring their electric energy. Sunday had epic back to back sets from house legends Doc Martin b2b Marques Wyatt and The Black Madonna b2b Jackmaster. The fun continued over weekend two with sets from acclaimed DJ and producer, TOKiMONSTA on Friday. Superstar DJ Mija brought the house down on Saturday, in addition to house legend DJ and Producer Claude VonStroke. The weekend officially ended with a melodic set from house duo Bedouin and a downtempo house music from Bonobo. Fortunately, the music does not stop as fans can look forward to Do LaB’s own large scale five day music festival, Lighting in the Bottle, this Memorial Day weekend.
