LA-based brand Wildfox has officially taken over Malibu, California. Their second store opened last month at the Malibu Country Mart with items hand selected to fit the beachy location. Wildfox CEO Jimmy Sommers said “We have a loyal existing customer base who already shops the Malibu Country Mart location, so we want to bring them a broader range of product focused heavily on categories such as sun, swim, and beach attire.”

In honor of the new Malibu store, Jimmy Sommers threw a party at his Malibu Beach House with Malibu Mag on July 25th, 2015. Fun Fact: The Wildfox Malibu Beach House is the same place that Paris Hilton usually stays at during summer time. The event also celebrated the release of Wildfox’s Fall ’15 collection titled La Dolce Vita, inspired by the idea of escaping winter for a vacation along Italy’s Amalfi coast. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves with sun, great food and lots of goodies. There was even some fun activities, which included a Wildfox arcade game, where you drop the claw to capture a prize (no idea what it’s actually called). The machine was filled with Wildfox sunglasses, shirts, etc… I am just glad that I have some Wildfox shades for all of this Malibu sun (insert sunglass emoji here).
