It was a long Halloween weekend indeed (not complaining), but we were glad when the festivities finally came to an end this past Sunday. The best way to get over that Halloween hangover was at the Toca Madera and Veuve Cliquot Dia De Los Muertos Party. Just the tasty mexican food from Toca Madera alone brought us back to life, especially since life was an hour behind on that day (from daylight savings). The hip restaurant, located on 3rd street by the Beverly Center, featured colorful themed decorations and fun activities for guests. Guests were first greeted by stilt walkers as they entered into a mystical world of luminous flowers and elaborate candle lit skulls. From there, guests received complimentary Dia De Los Muertos face makeup by Make Up Forever, as they celebrated in style with craft Veuve Clicquot cocktails all night long. Other live entertainment included fire eaters, flamenco guitarists and sounds by DJ Sam Sorrels. Until next year Halloween…
