T Magazine editor Deborah Needleman feted T’s inaugural The Greats issue with a celebration at The Chateau Marmont on October 22 in Los Angeles. The issue honors individuals from the worlds of art, technology, music, film, fashion and literature whose work and vision have the ability to transform and inspire the culture at large. Along with Deborah Needleman and T’s publisher Brendan Monaghan, additional guests in attendance included: Courtney Love, Rashida Jones, Solange Knowles, Nikki Reed, Kiernan Shipka, Carrie Brownstein, Kim Gordon, Grace Gummer, Lykke Li, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Bret Easton Ellis, Phoebe Tonkin, Nicolas Ghesquière, and Miranda July (July was joined by Oumarou Idrissa, the Uber driver made famous in her profile of Rihanna). T’s celebration at The Chateau Marmont was sponsored by Graff Diamonds and featured music by DJ Allie Teliz. The Greats Issue features six different magazine covers, including Jonathan Franzen, Karl Lagerfeld, director Steve McQueen, Rihanna, Quentin Tarantino and tech entrepreneur Elizabeth Holmes. The issue runs in print this Sunday, October 25.
