Sonos Studio opened their doors on September 23rd for their new exhibition titled Sonic Garden. Sonic Garden is an experiential exhibition and multi-event program at Sonos Studio that allows the Los Angeles community to explore the musical world of plants through Sonos. Sound and environmental installation artist Mileece transformed the Sonos Studio into an ecological sanctuary where live plants empower an immersive sonic experience through Sonos’ smart speakers. Plants act as instruments to create harmonic symphonies using bio-electrical signals wired to its leaves which respond to human touch. The sonic response is powered through Sonos’ Wireless HiFi System to create a one-of-a-kind experience for visitors.

The exhibition opening will kick start a month of programming to celebrate the exploration of sound, including:
· 10/7: Film Screening of “The Secret Life of Plants” with live score

· 10/12: Sonos + KCRW present “An Evening with JR JR”

· 10/17: Bring Your Own Plant, Sonic Workshop
