Smashbox teamed up with the iconic L.A.-based artist, Jen Stark to commemorate their new, hypnotic collection with an intimate cocktail party. The backdrop for the evening was a beautifully historic and classic art deco building, where the industrial, concrete space was transformed into a vibrant hideaway, showcasing Jen Stark’s radiant, graphic drip art and colorfully highlighting the new products from the collection. Guests started the evening with a ride in a vintage 1920s elevator that opened up into a winding staircase and led to a sparkling rooftop with a 360 view of the twinkling Los Angeles cityscape and a custom Smashbox x Jen Stark flag overlooking the venue. Attendees mingled in the breezy Los Angeles weather while munching on street tacos, sipping on the “Holidaze”, a fun spin on a Paloma and dancing to 90s hip hop tunes spun by a DJ playing off vinyl records. Guests were encouraged to take photos in a unique photo moment surrounded by Jen Stark’s artwork and left the celebration with items from the collection.
