Recognized as one of the best vegetable-forward chefs in the world, Michelin-starred chef and restaurateur, John Fraser, celebrated the re-opening of Ardor at The West Hollywood EDITION over the weekend. From Friday evening until Sunday evening the jungle-like restaurant’s drew a slew of VIP guests from the worlds of art, fashion and gastronomy. The weekend-long celebration of Ardor’s re-emergence into West Hollywood’s dining scene where Fraser’s California-inspired dishes are brought to life by an all-female team of line cooks. Diners through the weekend include: Leomie Anderson, Slick Woods, Lily Kwong & Nick Kroll, Alex Prager, Matthew Kenney, Jordun Love (model), Fanny Singer, Dani Miller, Brooke Wise, Mark Indelicato, Amit Greenberg , Jason Stewart & Karolyn Pho and Steven R Sachs.
Divided into five sections – crudo, appetizers, entrees, charcoal grill and more vegetables – guests enjoyed cult favorites from the menu including Milk Bread, Raw Cauliflower Cacio e Pepe and Sweet Potato Curry. Dessert highlights include the gooseberry phyllo pizza with jam, crème-pâtissier and 25-year-old balsamic. Designed to defy the pompous noise of current cocktail culture, Ardor’s refined cocktail list, developed by Amy Racine, is inspired by color with vibrant cocktails including Yellow, Pink and Umber.
