RE/DONE hosted their inaugural Flea Market event at their new flagship store on Melrose Avenue. Celebrating their heritage ethos, the activation served to be a physical expansion of RE/DONE | Marketplace, an initiative meant to democratize access to hard-to-find collectables and pay homage to the objects that inspire the brand’s decades-oriented design. Actor and musician, Soko, hosted the event via RE/DONE’s Instagram, interviewing vendors, trying on assortments of vintage keepsakes, and celebrating the occasion. As the brand’s first event at their Melrose store, RE/DONE offered a one-of-a-kind immersive experience into their design inspiration with the industry’s most coveted Americana vintage.

The eight vendors comprised of the brand’s favorite Rose Bowl Flea Market dealers and local artisans, offering press, VIPs, and customers alike the chance to shop and learn about each item’s unique history from the experts themselves. Worn Over Time offered collectable jewelry and belts, Vintage on Hollywood with rare clothing, Arcana with vintage books and posters, Retrospecs with early and late-modern eyewear, Mister Green with archive glassware and smoking accessories, Den LA with 20th century homeware and design, The Haus Plant with a unique curation of plants, and a hand-selected assortment of 1940s – 1980s collectors Levi’s denim by the RE/DONE team.

Alongside Soko, notable guests included Alison Mosshart, Jamie Hince, Langley Fox, Jared Eng, and Nikolai Haas alongside wife Djuna Bel. Guests enjoyed Monty’s Good Burger & OLIPOP beverages while shopping vintage collectables that can never be recreated our found again.

The RE/DONE Flea Market launched on June 26th, 2021, from 12 pm to 5 pm, and will continue to occur on a quarterly basis showcasing various community-based expert artisans from different localities. The events will always be free and open to the public, located at RE/DONE’s various brick and mortar locations around the US.
