Last night, Galore Magazine hosted their “Ladies Night” Grammy Party at 1 OAK. We were a little upset that it wasn’t an open bar, especially since a drink at 1 OAK is $15, but we recovered from that quickly when we joined Charli XCX table. Charli XCX was hosting this gig, and had a table behind the DJ booth. We meet her whole british team, which included good friends Icona Pop, and had an absolute blast with them (check picture below).

Charli holds a Grammy nomination this year for Record of the Year with Iggy Azalea for Fancy. We were highly anticipating Lil Kim‘s performance, because she is the original Queen B and coined the term ‘lil’ before every rapper decided to add ‘lil’ to their name. She finally took the stage at 1:30 am, and is in fact bite sized. Her crew of ladies joined her onstage, including Rich Kids of Beverly Hills, Dorothy Wang. You can check her Jump Off performance above. She went through her set really quickly singing The Jump Off, Magic Stick and Lighters Up. When she was done, it was already 2 am so everyone had to leave the club. We headed to Charli XCX afterparty in Silverlake, and had so much fun with her and her crew, British people can do no wrong.
