Comedy Central Celebrate 20 Seasons of South Park with Matt Stone & Trey Parker with a Special Exhibition at the Paley Center

In conjunction with the recent launch of the South Park 20 Experience, a free interactive exhibit currently at the Paley Center in Beverly Hills which celebrates twenty seasons of the iconic series, the show’s co-creators, Matt Stone and Trey Parker, discussed the series’ satirical portrayal of current events and pop culture over the past 19 years with Doug Herzog, President of the Viacom Music & Entertainment Group at a special retroactive PaleyLive event on Thursday, September 1, 2016. The South Park 20 Experience exhibit opened at the Paley Center on Wednesday, August 24 and runs through Sunday, September 25. The free, public exhibit features a gallery of twenty, 2-D and 3-D life-sized replicas of fan-favorite >South Park characters and classic moments along with twenty specially created pieces of artwork curated by world-renowned pop culture artist, Ron English. As a leading nonprofit cultural institution, this exhibit is part of the Paley Center’s ongoing commitment to preserving, exploring, and interpreting the media through its extensive public Archive and educational programs. The Paley Center is home to the nation’s foremost publicly accessible archive of television, radio, and new media content, with over 160,000 programs spanning the history of media, which now includes all current seasons of South Park.
