Paris Hilton and Klarna hosted a VIP launch party for ‘House of Y2K’ – an interactive pop-up located on 8070 Melrose Avenue, which explores the evolution of fashion, beauty, and tech trends over three floors of glamorous activations and immersive installations featuring Paris’ most iconic looks, alongside additional decade-defining items. A variety of apparel, accessories and tech from Paris Hilton’s personal Y2K archives were on display, including the denim promo outfit from “The Simple Life”, blinged-out Hello Kitty accessories, her Swarovski “Paris” sunglasses, and much more. Paris Hilton made a showstopping entrance to the party, while ‘Stars Are Blind’ played. Paris Hilton dazzled in a custom Nicole & Felecia mini dress, a recreated look inspired by the iconic Julien Macdonald chainmail dress she wore on her 21st birthday, which was also one of the decade-defining looks displayed at the pop-up.
Coinciding with the pop-up is the launch of a limited-edition tracksuit in collaboration with Klarna, with proceeds going to Paris’ nonprofit organization 11:11 Media Impact. Attendees got Y2K-inspired makeup done by MUA Nick Metos and their personal items blinged out with Bling’d Up. Guests took home a piece of the experience in the form of Y2K-themed swag bags featuring polaroid cameras, Tamagotchis, scrunchies, and more. The evening featured music from DJ Kara, along with light bites/cocktails inspired by the 2000s and Paris’ most popular catchphrases. Guests in attendance included: Paris Hilton, Kathy Hilton, Kris Jenner, Tiffany Haddish, Carter Reum, Ashley Park, Dylan Mulvaney, Gigi Gorgeous, Christine Chiu, and Tana Mongeau, among others..
