The generosity of Hollywood was once again on display May 18, 2017 as the community came together to celebrate Uplift Family Services at Hollygrove’s 6th Annual Norma Jean Gala, presented by Houlihan Lokey. This year the gala proudly honored the agency’s friends and champions Matt Bomer and Simon Halls with the Ambassador of Children Award. The affectionate couple could not be more excited to be part of this lovely evening. Their romance started when Simon was Matt’s publicist, which eventually led to their engagement in 2011. Move over Chrissy Teigen and John Legend because they are our new favorite couple in town. Simon even brought out his parents for support which made for a lovely family photo. Busy Philipps looked stunning in her alice + olivia as she jokingly raised her auction paddle with Matt. The event benefitted the agency’s behavioral and mental health programs that provide help and hope to more than 1,200 at-risk children and their families in the Hollywood and South Los Angeles communities.
