On Saturday, September 17, 2016, the National Women’s History Museum (NWHM) and its Los Angeles Regional Council hosted an exclusive brunch at The Montage Beverly Hills to commemorate the achievements of women and generate awareness of the Museum and the importance of preserving women’s history. The 5th Annual Women Making History Brunch, presented by Glamour and Lifeway Foods, honored Emmy-nominated actress, Tracee Ellis Ross, Fashion Designer and Entrepreneur, Rachel Zoe, Oscar-nominated actress and star of Scream Queens on FOX, Abigail Breslin, and entrepreneur Toni Ko, Founder and CEO of NYX Cosmetics and PERVERSE Sunglasses. Honoree awards were presented by Yara Shahidi, Molly Sims, Bruce Greenwood, and Alison Dean, respectively. NWHM’s mission is to educate, inspire, empower, and shape the future by integrating women’s distinctive history into the culture and history of the United States. A key element of advancing that mission is to build a world-class museum at the National Mall in Washington, DC.
