On Saturday, March 31, Peacock brought The Traitors to WeHo Pride for a celebration championing LGBTQ+ visibility, embracing the show’s diverse fandom, and turning up the drama in true Traitors fashion. Cast members Chrishell Stause, Bob the Drag Queen, Parvati Shallow, Bob Harper and Sam Asghari and notable guests including Anna Kendrick, Taylor Owen, Chrissie Fit and Chris Appleton joined fans at the one-day-only Club Cumming pop up, which transformed West Hollywood venue The Abbey into The Traitors host Alan Cumming’s beloved New York hotspot with photo opps, themed cocktails and a drag brunch inspired by the Emmy Award-winning reality series.
The celebration continued on Sunday, June 1, as a contingent representing The Traitors joined the WeHo Pride parade with bagpipers and cloaked figures, marching in solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community and championing the spirit of inclusion the show embraces. The Traitors season 3 led this year’s Critics Choice Real TV Awards, earning three awards including Best Competition Series, Best Ensemble Cast in an Unscripted Series, and Alan Cumming won for Best Show Host. Alan also received a nomination for Male Star of the Year as did Dylan Efron, with castmate Gabby Windey garnering a nomination for Female Star of the Year.
