To make it clear that Jennifer Lopez (since when does she not go by J.Lo?) is taking over Las Vegas for her residency at Planet Hollywood titled All I Have, she took over the American Music Awards by storm on Sunday November 22th just to give us a taste. At 46 years old, this woman has better moves and more energy than myself sipping on redbull vodka’s. She opened up the show with some great dance moves to hit songs from the past year featuring Anaconda which went viral from an audience shot of Nicki Minaj rolling her eyes.
The show went on at a nonstop pace, moving from one performance to another to an award speech being an entertainment overload. The full list of performers of the 2015 AMA’s featured: 5 Seconds of Summer, Justin Bieber, Leon Bridges, Coldplay, Celine Dion, Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, Nick Jonas, Demi Lovato, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Alanis Morissette, One Direction, Gwen Stefani, Carrie Underwood, WALK THE MOON, The Weeknd, duets from Meghan Trainor and Charlie Puth, Luke Bryan featuring Karen Fairchild of Little Big Town and the legendary Star Wars score performed by pop super group Pentatonix and a full symphony orchestra. The whole thing made me dizzy, but it was hard to look away. Everyone who won this year deserved their Awards including Justin Bieber, The Weeknd, Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj. The 2015 American Music Awards sponsors and partners included Coca-Cola, Cumulus Media / WestwoodOne, Kohl’s, Music Choice, Samsung, Shazam, T-Mobile, Time Warner Cable and Yahoo.
