Last night, Stella McCartney returned to Los Angeles to celebrate the launch of her new Women’s Autumn 2018 and Men’s Autumn/Winter 2018 collections. An homage to fashion, music and the local LA scene, the collection was presented alongside surprise performances with musical sets by: BØRNS, Leon Bridges, Dr. Pepper’s Jaded Hearts Club Band, Grimes, St. Vincent and Beck. Held at the iconic SIR (Studio Instrument Rentals) Studios in Hollywood, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. Guests that joined Stella McCartney to celebrate the evening included: Amy Poehler, Big Sean, Leonardo Dicaprio, Christina Aguilera, Dakota Johnson, Dave Grohl, Emma Roberts, Kate Hudson, Katy Perry, Miranda Kerr, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, and Quincy Jones among many other celebrities.

The Stella McCartney woman’s relationship with the Stella McCartney man plays on a masculine sensibility and a sense of effortlessness as the collections were presented together amidst the event. The new Women’s Autumn 2018 collection featured a reinterpretation of Stella McCartney’s signature masculine play on feminine silhouettes, exploring the multi-faceted wardrobe of a woman. The 18 looks presented revealed the collection’s optical prints, deconstructed lace, a mix of animal prints, masculine tailoring and new re-imagination of adidas Original classics. Accessories, including the Flo and Stella Star bags, complement the collection. The Autumn Winter 2018 menswear collection plays on a juxtaposition of both the familiar and the disruptive combined with British cultural conventions to result in an effortless wardrobe featured in the 10 looks presented tonight. The new sustainably designed loop shoes and the eco-friendly Icey Ice eyewear are introduced this season for both men and women. The Women’s Autumn 2018 collection will be available in stores from May, while the Men’s Autumn Winter 2018 collection will be available starting June.
