Sports Illustrated honored their 2017 Fashionable 50 members, including NBA MVP and Sports Illustrated’s Fashion MVP Russell Westbrook at a star-studded event at Avenue in Los Angeles last night. Fashionable 50 2017 members Westbrook, Kyrie Irving, Andre Iguodala, P.K. Subban, Lindsey Vonn, Marcedes Lewis and Robbie Rogers were all in attendance at the glamorous night alongside Sports Illustrated Swimsuit models Kate Bock, Genevieve Morton, Tanya Mityushina and SI Swimsuit Rookie of the Year Bianca Balti. Sports Illustrated dubbed NBA MVP Russell Westbrook as their Fashion MVP, spotlighting the star on this issue’s cover. Westbrook is styled by Jason Rembert on the cover, wearing a jacket and pants by Salvatore Ferragamo; the photoshoot took place in Oklahoma City with Sports Illustrated photographer Taylor Ballantyne. Sports Illustrated also hosted a live red carpet show with Maggie Gray on SI.com, Facebook and YouTube. The Sports Illustrated 2017 Fashionable 50 event was presented by Michael Kors.
