It is still the first week of January and Award Season is already in full swing. Last night, it was the people who got to decide their favorite entertainer throughout TV, music and movies at the People’s Choice Awards that took place at the Microsoft Theatre. The big winner of the night was Ellen DeGeneres who is the “Mother Theresa of talk shows and the Dalai Lama of Daytime TV,” which she jokingly says that she wouldn’t call herself but she is sure someone else has. She accepted the Favorite Humanitarian Award and donated the generous $100,000 from Walgreens to her favorite charity, St. Jude Hospital. Other big winners of the night were The Big Bang Theory for Favorite TV Show and Favorite Network TV Comedy and The Furious 7 for Favorite Movie and Favorite Action Movie.
