The one and only Neon Carnival was back once again for their annual desert takeover for its seventh consecutive year to Indio, California on April 16. Prior to the weekend, everyone in Los Angeles hustled to get on the most important list of the weekend, and picked up their wristband in advance which was attached to one-of-a-kind keepsake bracelet from Lokai. The famed late-night outdoor dance party created by Brent Bolthouse featured a new set up, new amusement park rides, games and more. Attracting the Hollywood elite, Leonardo DiCaprio, Rihanna, Jared Leo, Alexander Skarsgaard, Nina Dobrev, Aaron Paul, Josh Hutcherson, Karlie Kloss came out to celebrate music’s most celebrated festival. G-Eazy was one of the first to arrive with an entourage of guests and was escorted directly to his table and kept a low profile throughout the night. The Me, Myself, and I singer was paired with a close friend on the Tinder’s “Matchmaker” ride before headed to his VIP table.
Leonardo DiCaprio donning his usual baseball hat and shades arrived around 1 am under the radar through the back entrance and settled into a large booth where he let loose and was having a great time with friends. The Oscar Winner seemed to be in great spirits sipping Tequila Don Julio cocktails and dancing to the sounds of DJ Rukus. Also sneaking in through the back entrance, Rihanna arrived after Leo and was seated next to his booth. She rocked bright yellow-rimmed sunglasses, keeping them on the entire night. While the two were chatting, DJ Politik played Rihanna’s huge hit Work and the entire place went wild. At another table, Nina Dobrev, Derek Hough and Josh Hutcherson sat together and were all spotted dancing to beats by DJ Equal. Scott Eastwood was seated at a table near Jared Leto who seemed to be keeping a low profile sitting with his brother Shannon and a few friends. Fresh off of his Coachella performance where Kesha was a surprise guest, ZEDD headed straight to Neon Carnival and enjoyed watching the other DJs. Walking around in the late hours of the night spotted was the A$AP mob led by A$AP Rocky and Pais Hilton. We also saw Brooklyn Beckham wondering around looking freshly braided from earlier in the day.
This year’s event was presented by renowned denim brand Levi’s in partnership with RE/DONE | Levi’s who provided guests with a personalized tailoring experience inside the Levi’s mobile tailor shop. Tequila Don Julio provided the specialty drink experience and 1942 bottle service for VIP tables. Now we just have to wait another year for one of the best parties on earth, period.
