In honor of “The World’s Best Shoes” Campaign, MR PORTER.COM, the award-winning global retail destination for men’s style, gathered some stylish fellows to talk about fashion at Milk Studios on October 6th, 2015. A Q&A titled ‘MR PORTER on Style’ took place between founders/designers Peter Poopat and Flavio Girolami of Common Projects with MR PORTER US Editor Dan Rookwood.
More than 100 guests, including: LA Galaxy Soccer Player Robbie Rogers, Model Eric Rutherford, The Impossible Cool’s Sean Sullivan, Jason Markk amongst others. Being surrounded by well groomed gentlemen is a girls dream, and as a heterosexual female, I definitely needed to pinch myself a couple of times.
The event took place to celebrate the launch of MR PORTER’s new campaign “The World’s Best Shoes”. Distinguished by the breadth and depth of MR PORTER’s premiere shoe buy, “The World’s Best Shoes” will feature a cultivated and curated selection of 13 categories from more than 90 of the world’s best luxury, designer, premium and limited-distribution footwear brands,“To celebrate this we have enhanced the on-site experience to make the information and purchase path as easy as possible, and we have worked with a number of designers to create exclusive capsule collections, which will release on site during October as part of our month-long celebration of shoes on MR PORTER” said Buying and Sales Director, Toby Bateman.
