On Thursday December 17th, DeLeón Tequila joined Billboard to officially kick off and celebrate the DeLeón 100 which is a curated list of music industry trailblazers identified by Sean “Diddy” Combs. The event, which took place at the Sayers Club in Los Angeles, honored some of the individuals that have already been named to this elite roster of 100 trailblazers nationwide. Grammy-nominated artist Miguel was the first of the list and accepted this honor during the kick off event. The small few in attendance enjoyed a private show from Miguel, who started off with his hit Simple Things. In the midst of the set, he paused to cheers the crowd with DeLeón Tequila. He asked the crowd what he should play next, and got an overwhelming response for his hit Coffee from his latest album Wildhearts. He went on to joke that coffee and tequila make a great combination. Always spreading postivity, Miguel ended his show by reminding the crowd “to never conform, always be bold and different”. His fiancee Nazanin Mandi joined him after the show, fresh from the 3rd Annual CineFashion Film Awards. Additional celebrities that came out to toast the tastemakers and help take the evening to #TheNextLevel included: Makila Haqq, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Terrance J and DeLeón 100 honoree, Clay.
