Oscar-winning actor and OMEGA ambassador Eddie Redmayne joined a host of VIP guests at Mack Sennett Studios to celebrate the release of the Globemaster on March 1st, 2016, the week following the Oscars. The gifted actor, renowned for his bold choice of roles and classic sense of style, is a fan of the Globemaster and wore the timepiece to the event. He spoke warmly about his love of traditional watches and his respect for OMEGA’s legacy. Mr. Stephen Urquhart, president of OMEGA, was happy to share the stage with Eddie Redmayne, describing him as someone who ‘speaks from the heart’. Guests enjoyed a wonderful evening in a very unique setting. Mack Sennett Studios is one of the first silent movie studios in Los Angeles. The after-party took place in a speakeasy-style bar with live jazz performed by Chris Norton and his Band.
