LACMA held the American Premiere of All Day / I Feel Like That, a collaboration between director Steve McQueen and Kanye West. About 120 people were invited to the premiere at the LACMA on July 24th, 2015, and held special instructions so that everything would be kept secret. A conversation was held with Steve McQueen, and Kanye West, by the current director of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art Michael Govan, where we found out more about the project. The video, whose official running time is eight minutes, 59 seconds, was shot in a single take in a dockyard interior near London.
Steve McQueen with Kanye West: All Day / I Feel Like That will be on view on the ground floor of LACMA’s Broad Contemporary from Saturday, July 25th to Tuesday, July 28th, and can be seen with a regular general admission ticket to the museum.
