Glamour Held a Celebrity Filled Evening to Honor their 2016 Women of the Year Including Miuccia Prada, Gwen Stefani, Zendaya and More

Last night, Kim Crawford Wines joined Glamour as they celebrated Glamour’s Women of the Year Summit & Awards at NeueHouse in Los Angeles. For the first time ever, the event moved from New York City to Los Angeles and was streamed exclusively via Facebook Live, giving Glamour’s audience the opportunity to experience this year’s most inspirational women.

Tracee Ellis Ross hosted the ceremony recognizing Gwen Stefani, Zendaya, and Simone Biles. Patrisse Cullors, Alicia Garza, and Opal Tometi, who founded the #BlackLivesMatter movement, the Stanford sexual assault case survivor now known as “Emily Doe,” Ashley Graham, Christine Lagarde, Nadia Murad and Miuccia Prada were recognized as well during the evening. Additionally, for the first time in the 27-year history of the marquee event, Women of the Year also named a Man of the Year, awarding humanitarian and rock icon, Bono. “Each honoree, including our first-ever Man of the Year, Bono, is changing the conversation and the culture, and making life better not just for herself—or himself!—but for all women,” said Cindy Leive, Editor in Chief of Glamour magazine.

As a part of the Women of the Year celebration, LAX’s pylons lit up in Glamour pink to symbolize the millions of women around the world who continue to break barriers. Throughout the cocktail reception, Kim Crawford Wines provided several moments for guests to ‘raise a glass’ to the spirit of Women of the Year with their signature wine cocktail, the Glamour Slammer. L’Oréal Paris returned as the title sponsor of the awards for the 15th consecutive year.
