The Mondrian Hotel hosts a monthly installment every full moon at their notable Skybar, which consists of a trunk show of various brands selected by their team. All full moons bring out both the freaks and stars in this town, so you never know who you might run into. For this particular Bazaar, when you walked in you could tell something or someone important was involved, as security was on high alert. We covered this Bazaar, as we would any Bazaar, taking pictures of the crowd and actively participating throughout the event. Then out of the blue, the only other photographer allowed into the event joined our team because she was afraid to ask Dr. Dre for a picture. No one would ever have known that he was there at the top bar sitting at a corner table if it wasn’t for photographers teaming up on him. This coincided with Mr. Dre being named the first billionaire in Hip Hop, so you can understand why this Bazaar seemed much stricter than usual. We got our Dr. Dre picture and went along our business. All the attendees looked amazing that night, it was one of those LA summer night full moons that brought out the best in everyone.
