Iconic singer-songwriter Carole King, regarded as one of the most successful songwriters of our time, returned to the stage, along with a special performance by Eve Ensler, author of The Vagina Monologues, the comedic stylings of Tig Notaro, and a musical performance by Grace Mitchell at the Los Angeles LGBT Center’s An Evening with Women on Saturday, May 13th. Cameron Esposito and Rhea Butcher hosted the evening of historic female figures at the world-famous Hollywood Palladium. The evening featured cocktails and a silent auction followed by dinner and show. Attendees had the chance to see the highly curated visual content by actor/ director Clea DuVall, recently selected as a Sundance Institute FilmTwo Initiative Fellow. The event co-chairs are Clea DuVall, Mia Weier, Annie Goto, Kelly Lynch, and Brent Bolthouse.
