On Thursday, May 4th, 2023, Drake’s Hollywood and owner, Hunter Pond, hosted an exclusive Grand Opening event located on the iconic Melrose Avenue strip in West Hollywood–alongside staples such as Cecconi’s, Catch LA, and Craig’s. Invitees were the first in California to taste Drake’s custom creations such as the Vin Scully Fries, Le Deluxe Mac n Cheese, ‘Big & Spicy’ Chicken Parm, Pasta Za Za, and several premiere steak options. Signature cocktails included VHG’s ‘World’s Coldest Martini’, Bleu & Gold, Lemon Fizz, and lot’s more. The night was filled with a sultry ambiance, gorgeous photo ops, and jazz–a perfect way to welcome Drake’s Hollywood to the City of Angels! Top celebrities and influencers in attendance included: Olivia Culpo, Paris Jackson, Jasmine Tookes, Shanina Shaik, Kevin Connolly, Chrishell Stause, Kara Del Toro, Anne Winters, and many more.

Inspired by the timeless metropolitan restaurants of the 1930s and 1940s in both New York and Los Angeles, Drake’s pairs a sophisticated, craveable food & drink menu with a lively old-school ambiance. From their intimate booths, guests are surrounded by original art featuring iconic characters of Hollywood history from all eras. On the fun, well-rounded menu, standouts include a “Melrose” cracker-crust pizza section; a premier streak program focused on wagyu, hand-butchered beef; a sturgeon caviar menu; and overall delicious American classics.
