On April 11th, NYLON hosted the return of NYLON House in the Desert at Maraza. Presented by Ulta Beauty, the unofficial kickoff to the biggest festival celebration in music featured a star-studded guestlist, a special performance by award-winning, multi-platinum singer/songwriter Dove Cameron – whose performance featured the techno-pop anthem “Too Much” off her forthcoming album – and high-energy DJ sets by James Hype and Austin Millz. The evening also celebrated the release of NYLON’s latest broadsheet, featuring global icon Tyla as the cover star.
This year’s oceanic theme, Deep Dive, invited guests to plunge into the depths of self-discovery and ignite vibrant worlds waiting to be uncovered. Guests enjoyed an undersea-inspired beauty experience with Ulta Beauty’s professional glam refreshes and exclusive giveaways and stepped into immersive vignettes and created personalized album covers with Plan B. Partygoers were treated to fashion finds at Marshalls’ Good Stuff Style House, makeup touch-ups at COVERGIRL’s desert-inspired oasis, festival-ready manicures by Sally Hansen, free piercings by Banter, and mood-boosting scents from adidas Vibes fragrance collection. VIP attendees included: Olivia Holt, Tayme Thapthimthong, Karreuche Tran, Gavin Casalegno, Ava Max, Chris Colfer, Blake Gray, Dale Moss, Tinx, Ariana Madix, Tara Yummy, Lance Bass, the Montana Boyz, and more.
