Womenswear line COCODISCO hosted the August installment of Mondrian’s ever-popular Full Moon Bazaar event series with sounds provided by DJs Heidi Lawden and Gabby Mejia. COCODISCO designer Elise Welch showcased looks on female and male models who danced on a stage, showered in disco lights, camera flashes, and bubbles floating throughout. Welch’s “sheer barely there party wear” aesthetic mixed flowy fabrics with an 80s carefree decadence that could easily have been draped on any of Studio54’s starlets. Guests sipped on custom Full Moon Bazaar printed coconuts and noshed on veggie pizzas, while grooving to the Bee Gees and shopping the latest collections from brands including Men’s Health favorite Pangea Swim, womenswear lines Always February, 12th Tribe, L-Space, Sole Society, NINES, and Rose Gyspy, along with artisan jewelry from Aussie Buck Palmer.
Full Moon Bazaar is a monthly pop-up shopping event initiated by Event Producers Michelle Sanchez and Jonathan Stinson in 2014, a curated evening of great friends and cocktails that showcases the most exciting designers and brands in fashion, beauty, tech, lifestyle, and wellness.
