Christian Cowan and The Powerpuff Girls Debuted a Bold and Bright Capsule Collection on International Women’s Day

Cartoon Network’s The Powerpuff Girls continues their 20th-year celebration alongside cutting-edge womenswear designer Christian Cowan with an inspiring all-new collection. To celebrate International Women’s Day, Christian Cowan and The Powerpuff Girls debuted a bold and bright capsule collection in a runway show on Friday, March 8th. The collection celebrates girl power highlighting strong women at the core of both brands. Christian Cowan blends the iconic trio’s colorful and action-packed embodiment of true girl power with his view on the strong women he is constantly inspired by. The runway show features a diverse group of women including Paris Hilton and Maye Musk that truly represent our society and true sisterhood. “I am thrilled to be partnering with such an iconic brand whose message is about supporting one another and kicking butt no matter your age, size or gender,” says Cowan. “I grew up watching The Powerpuff Girls, and I am so lucky to have the opportunity to create a collection inspired by characters that advocate for sisterhood and positivity.” Celebrities in attendance included: Heidi Klum, Erika Jayne, Tinashe, Amanda Steele, Carly Rae Jepsen, Betty Who, Skai Jackson, Kim Petras, Draya Michelle, Julissa Bermudez, and Francia Raisa. The Powerpuff Girls and Christian Cowan share the support for gender equality, and the collaboration will benefit She’s the First (STF), a nonprofit organization that fights gender inequality through education.
