On Wednesday, February 28th, Fashion House Chanel hosted a lavish cocktail party to debut the Chanel Beauty House located off of Sunset Boulevard in the midst of Oscar week. Chanel is going all out to celebrate their new use-generated beauty instagram @WELOVECOCO. Named after the brand’s founder, Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel, the @WELOVECOCO page will repost a wide range of beauty content created by its U.S. community, and aims to activate the creation of content from the broader audience on Instagram who are inspired by Chanel Beauty. Curated content includes red carpet makeup looks, hyperlapse self-application, tutorials from top makeup artists, product photos and illustrations, selfies, skin-prep advice, flatlays, ASMR videos, and more. Hollywood influencers gathered at the iconic address to explore color and unleash their creativity in the interactive beauty space. The night was capped off with a surprise performance from Grammy Nominated artist Tove Love.
