Bumble Hive LA Debuts with goop CEO and Founder Gwyneth Paltrow, Bumble Founder & CEO Whitney Wolfe Herd and more
More than a hundred-people including Bumble founder and CEO Whitney Wolfe Herd and actresses and television producers Erin Foster and Sara Foster, Heads of Creative for Bumble BFF and Bumble Bizz, gathered in LA’s fashionable Melrose place to celebrate the official opening of Bumble Hive LA. Attendees mingled in the hive and listened to a discussion with goop CEO and Founder Gwyneth Paltrow in conversation with author of The Food Therapist Shira Lenchewski in which they discussed the importance of putting healthy intentions into actions.
While speaking with Lenchewski about the harm that comes with placing ethics into your diet, Paltrow said, “It’s more harmful to eat a Big Mac and shame yourself for it than to be like, ‘great I’m going to have a Big Mac!’ and enjoy it.” Guests mingled throughout the venue sipping specialty Casamigos cocktails and enjoying the beautiful venue embellished with Bumble’s trademark yellow honeycomb theme featuring communal workspaces, couches, a bar, photo-booth and a professional portrait studio for Bumble users to get new headshots for their Bumble Bizz profile. Designed and produced by experiential marketing agency, Manifold, the Bumble Hive LA draws inspiration from three central elements: the new Bumble headquarters in Austin, the modern Los Angeles design sensibility and the concept of a buzzing bee hive.
The Hive LA has a versatile range of programming, with brand partners including Casamigos Tequila, Alfred Coffee, Amazon Prime, Birchbox, Postmates, PRIV, Lyft, Shake Shack, and Urban Stems, with additional partners being announced weekly. The Bumble Hive LA is now open February 1 and runs through March 25 from Wednesday – Friday (12pm-7pm), Saturdays (1 pm – 8 pm) and Sunday (12 pm – 4 pm). Check out all of their upcoming events HERE.
