This year’s Grammy Awards had plenty of special performances and surprises (Adele – WTF?!) but the best kept secret of music’s biggest night was the “Friends Keep Secrets” after party hosted by Diplo, dFm, PizzaSlime, Ciroc and WeTransfer. Raging past 4 a.m. at the Beverly Hills home of mega-producer Benny Blanco, music A-Listers like Justin Bieber, Kanye West, Katy Perry, Ed Sheeran, Halsey, Charli XCX and Mark Ronson came from their respective record label after parties to let their hair down and groove to special DJ sets from Diplo, Jillionaire and Cashmere Cat. With Kanye’s Father Strech My Hands Pt. 1 bumping and cube shaped lights from Symmetry Labs setting the mood, music insiders lucky enough to be on the guest list (and make it past the tight security) sipped on signature Ciroc cocktails with Fat Jew and toked on complimentary joints from Higher Path with Ty Dolla Sign. Rocking a blue Natural Light jacket and backwards hat, Diplo was very approachable and friendly reigning over one of the dopest house parties we’ve ever been to…and we’ve been to a lot of them.
