On Saturday evening, Venice was buzzing with the who’s who of Los Angeles to check out the unveiling of Belles Beach House in Venice Beach, CA. Belles is the latest concept from restaurateur and designer – Nick Mathers from The Wish You Were Here Group. Mathers, known for his numerous sought-after restaurants such as Elephante, Kassi Beach Club, and Ruby’s, is adding this modern take on Tiki to his rolodex of successful hot spots.

Belles is a beautiful blend of Hawaiian Izakaya meets Modern Tiki Bar. The venue is filled with elements of ’70’s retro including bamboo ceilings, oversized palms, vintage surfboards, decorative tiki sculptures, and so much more. Every inch of Belles will have you feeling like you’ve been transported to Hawaii or Tahiti. There was no short supply of VIPs and tastemakers at the unveiling of Belles Beach House on Saturday night. Belles hosted an intimate VIP dinner filled with Hawaiian-inspired dishes and curated Tiki cocktails. Actress and singer Victoria Justice was in attendance with her sister, Madison Grace.
