A staple in the Los Angeles awards season calendar, the BAFTA Tea Party was back for the 2019 Golden Globes for an elegant gathering at the Four Season Los Angeles on January 5, 2019. The party has a long tradition of recognizing the very best creative talents, and is hugely popular with nominees seeking a respite from the hectic and demanding Awards season. John Krasinski and wife Emily Blunt were couple goals and looked more adorable than ever. Other attendees included Amy Adams, Timothée Chalamet, Glenn Close, Sacha Baron Cohen, Lily Collins, Willem Dafoe, Kathryn Hahn, Josh Hamilton, Kiki Layne, Spike Lee, Courtney Love, Rob Marshall, Melissa McCarthy, Paul Oakenfold, Mark Ronson, Troye Sivan, Emma Stone, Billy Zane, among others. The afternoon also raises awareness and funds for BAFTA’s year-round education and new talent programming. The event was presented by American Airlines, BBC America and Jaguar Land Rover.
