American Express welcomed its Platinum Card Members to the second Amex Platinum House at The Parker hotel in Palm Springs, California during the first weekend of Coachella Music Festival for an exclusive access to a variety of VIP experiences. Guests were encouraged to munch on tacos and sip cocktails created in collaboration with Hella Cocktail Co., Gotham Greens and Casa Dragones Tequila. Live performances by Republic Records artists, Julia Michaels and Justine Skye entertained the crowds with hit songs such as “Issues” and “Don’t Think About It”. MILK Makeup and Saks Fifth Avenue experts provided beauty and styling tips ranging from makeup application to temporary tattoos. Express crystal energy readings and Reiki healing treated attendees to a relaxed and calm atmosphere. Celebrities include Daniel Kaluuya, Laverne Cox, Paris Jackson,Jamie Chung, and more took photos in front of an art installation by artist and Platinum Collective Member Daniel Arsham’s design film Snarkitecture. A Palm Springs inspired collection from Quincy Moore’s Knowlita line was also presented to the card member guests. The capsule line, in addition with MILK Makeup and Monday Swimwear were available to purchase throughout the space. A percentage of the sale proceeds were donated to Young Audiences, the nation’s largest arts-in-education organization to support arts education in schools.
