This past weekend, adidas Originals launched the first installment of its two-part ‘NMD’ Immersive Photo Gallery Experience curated by the legendary street photographer, Estevan Oriol in Los Angeles. Representing the future of urban exploration, adidas Originals’ NMD embodies the spirit of the nomad and those who use the streets as their canvas. With the aim to empower future street photographers, Oriol and colleagues Brian Willette and Cole Younger took to the streets with 15 next generation street photographers on a photo meetup. Oriol later hand-selected the top photos captured from the meetup to be on display for the state-of-the-art group show with music by Soulection’s Joe Kay. The adidas Originals NMD Immersive Photo Gallery Experience looks to partner with the past to empower the future by serving as a platform to elevate emerging talent within the creative community. Combining the originators with their contemporaries, the second and final installment of the group photo exhibit will highlight 15 entirely different emerging photographers and one iconic curator in New York at the end of April.
