Last night, actor and Scream Queens’ star Glen Powell along with LA insiders celebrated On Dobel Time – Maestro Dobel Tequila’s multi-city program, which takes guests on a journey into the world of time pieces in partnership with Hodinkee, a leader in original horology content. Held at Greenhouse at Platform LA, the space was portioned into the shape of a clock face that featured 5 visually stunning bars, representing stops in time. The evening featured revered, handpicked collector wrist watches curated by Hodinkee’s founder Benjamin Clymer and paired with Maestro Dobel’s meticulously crafted variants to highlight the art and precision of both spirit and time.
Following a speech by Hodinkee’s Editor and Vintage Watch Buyer Louis Westphalen and Maestro Dobel ambassador Cody Goldstein, guests including Glen Powell who was sporting a vintage Rolex GMT watched in real time as a professional watchmaker painstakingly assembled a watch while giving insight into the craftsmanship correlation between watchmaking and tequila making. Attendees enjoyed cocktails of Dual Time El Diablo, Moon Phase Margarita and Smoky Tourbillion Negroni paired along with light bites as sounds by DJ Eric D-Lux served as the soundtrack of the night.
