On Friday, February 26, Women In Film, Max Mara, BMW, M·A·C Cosmetics, Perrier-Jouët and FIJI Water celebrated the Ninth Annual Women In Film Pre-Oscar Cocktail Party at Hyde Sunset Kitchen + Cocktails in Los Angeles. The evening, hosted by Academy Award-winning producer and Women In Film, LA President, Cathy Schulman honored all 51 women, in front of and behind the camera, who have been nominated for an Oscar this year. More than thirty 2016 Oscar Nominees were in attendance including Alicia Vikander, Jennifer Lawrence, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Charlotte Rampling and more.

Oscar nominated actress Jennifer Lawrence arrived just in time to catch the inspiring speeches by WIF President Cathy Schulman, Patricia Arquette, and Oscar nominated Straight Outta Compton screenwriter Andrea Berloff who discussed the importance of equal opportunities and equal pay for women. When Patricia Arquette met M∙A∙C Cosmetics Global Brand President Karen Buglisi Weiler, she thanked her for all of M∙A∙C’s support of Women In Film and happy to hear of a brand that does a lot of good and advocacy and is fan of all their Viva Glam work. Oscar nominee Diane Warren and guests Michelle Monahan, Kate Walsh, La La Anthony, and Sophia Amoruso left the party with a M·A·C Cosmetics gift box.
