Telefilm Canada, the Consulate General of Canada in Los Angeles and the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television co-hosted An Evening with Canada’s Stars, which included a reception, a talent tribute to Canadian Academy Award nominees and Canadian Screen Award nominees, as well as the presentation of the Academy Legacy Awards to Catherine O’Hara and Eugene Levy. Adam Beach, Lyriq Bent and Emmanuelle Chriqui served as the evening’s presenters. Other notable attendees included Jacob Tremblay, Billy Boyd, Tricia Helfer, Greyston Holt, Anna Hopkins, Jonathan Keltz, Steve Lund, Dustin Milligan, Tahmoh Penikett, Meaghan Rath, Maxim Roy, Anna Silk, David Sutcliffe, Laura Vandervoort, and Academy Award nominees Adam Benzine, Chris Duesterdiek, Nick Hornby, Paul Massey, Stephan Moccio, Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, Robert Pandini, Amanda Posey and Hamish Purdy.
