X. ARI is a queer artist/songwriter, founder, and president of the WisdoMania Foundation in collaboration with the Tangible Movement. Alongside prominent mental health/suicide prevention and transgender advocate Torri Shack, the two are on a mission to transform lives with positive energy. As the CEO and founder of Tangible Movement, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Torri resides at the nexus of mental health and LGBTQIA2S+ issues, living every day with a deep passion for his community at heart.
In addition to leading Tangible Movement, he is a successful entrepreneur as the CEO and Founder of Resilient Consultancy, specializing in small business and nonprofit consulting. He is also on the Board of Directors for the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Northern Nevada. While Torri’s vast accomplishments stretch even further and wholly reflect his genuine nature and work ethic, his challenges and experiences serve as the foundation for his dynamic undertakings.
For example, Tangible Movement has gained immense recognition for its efforts to break down stigmas associated with mental health, suicide, addiction, LGBTQIA2+ equity, and gender identity. However, the success of Tangible Movement is directly built upon Torri’s lived experiences as a two-time attempted suicide survivor, recovering drug addict, and alcoholic. Simply put, Torri is so blatantly passionate about his work because he understands the maddening depths of depression and is devoted to helping others rise above.
As yet another testament to Torri’s devotion, the talented collaborator has sunk his focus into providing an unparalleled event dedicated to immersive mental health and arts in Los Angeles, California: WisdoMania Fest. Co-hosted by two mental health nonprofits (WisdoMania Foundation and Tangible Movement), the event is tailored for those who are passionate about mental health and the arts.
Experience the transformative energy of WisdoMania Fest, where two unforgettable days are dedicated to self-care, creativity, mental health, and entertainment. This inclusive, all-ages event provides a supportive space where every attendee is embraced and acknowledged.
