French fashion designer Amélie Pichard and actress/activist Pamela Anderson hosted a private VIP event with Opening Ceremony in Los Angeles to launch AMELIEPICHARD x PAMELA ANDERSON, a sexy vegan resort collection of shoes and accessories. 10% of the proceeds benefit the (PETA-approved) Pamela Anderson Foundation. Inspired by 90s sex appeal, the line brings together lucite heels, shiny vegan leather, and patchwork denim. In the AMELIEPICHARD x PAMELA ANDERSON collection, the two aim to promote the use innovative, animal-free materials in the fashion industry.

Pamela Anderson said, “I am thrilled to be working with Amélie, she has such great style and vision and I trust her enough as a young artist, to invest in her, (and my) dream of sexy Vegan shoes and accessories for all women.”

Of the collection and collaboration, the designer, Amélie Pichard said, “Our idea is to make sustainable fashion sexy by playing on the duality of Pamela Anderson, who on one hand is a sex icon, and on the other hand, is a mother and nature lover.”

In a series of rooms decorated with oversized lips and shoes from the set of the David LaChapelle photographed campaign featuring Pamela Anderson, guests sipped Chandon sparkling wines and shopped and tried on the AMELIEPICHARD x PAMELA ANDERSON shoes while while DJ Myles Hendrick spun records.
