The 4th Annual Lights Camera Cure went on this weekend at Avalon in Hollywood on March 21st, 2015. The mission of Lights Camera Cure is to support children and families battling pediatric cancer by raising funds and awareness for support and research programs through community based fundraising and service activities. The Hollywood Dance Marathon is their primary fundraising event. It is a high-energy dance party/charity benefit featuring supporters who sign up to dance for six hours and raise money from family and friends, similar to traditional fundraising walks. Lots of celebs stopped by to show their support for this event which benefitted Mattel Children’s Hospital UCLA and The Four Diamonds Fund (see pictures above). This year, Lights Camera Cure raised a total of $101,248.73.
