Some good and some bad news was brought up at the Paleyfest 2015 Panel honoring American Horror Story: Freak Show closing night at the Dolby Theatre on March 15, 2015. The biggest news is that Jessica Lange announced after tiptoeing around the question that she will not be returning to Season 5 of American Horror Story. She did mention that playing Elsa Mars from American Horror Story: Freak Show was her favorite character from all of the seasons. American Horror Story without Jessica Lange is like peanut butter without its jelly. The creators are bringing on Lady Gaga on American Story Season 5 officially named Hotel to hopefully make up for irreplaceable Jessica Lange.
