Boy Smells, the cult fragrance, and personal care product brand on a mission to empower individuals to express their most authentic, genderful self, will host an immersive pop-up at Platform in Culver City, California. Open from November 4 through January 7th, the brand will offer a sensorial shopping experience and ongoing community activations that emulate Boy Smells’ core values. Coining the term genderful as a mark of inclusion, Boy Smells creates personal products that offer permission to celebrate your identity and individuality, rather than removing it from the conversation. Each scent in both their fine fragrance and candles intertwines traditionally masculine and feminine notes for an all-encompassing experience that defies the gender binary. The pop-up will exhibit the brand’s new collections, including the recently launched Fantôme Collection and Holiday Collection as well as its celebrated new category Genderful Fine Fragrance launch and the brand’s beloved core candles.

As its first-ever pop-up experience, this exhibition marks a meteoric period of growth for the Boy Smells brand. As a leader in the social conversation surrounding gender identity and empowered self-expression, sales have skyrocketed over the last two years, bringing the brand from indie start-up to both DTC and wholesale powerhouse. Ongoing activations with like-minded brands and artists will take place over the course of the pop-up, including weekly yoga sessions with wellness studio SKY TING, Wreath Building Workshops inspired by scent note ingredients from their holiday collection, custom product engraving, and more.
