Five Celebrity Los Angeles Hangouts

Is there a more celebrity-friendly city than Los Angeles? The east coast may go on about the sophistication and realness of the city that never sleeps, but for true exclusivity and famous patrons, L.A. is where it’s at. The other thing that the City of Angels does better than anywhere else is to treat its sports stars like real celebrities. Gone are the days when top sports stars needed to have side hustles to pay the bills – but Los Angeles treats them like the real stars they are, no matter what sport they do for a living. So the elite players for the Lakers are just as likely to pop up at some of these celebrity locations as appear on the Vegas betting sites.

The Maybourne

Beverly Hills is an obvious place to begin our cruise around the exclusive hangouts of Los Angeles. But The Maybourne has become one of the go-to places in the city. Owned by the same group that runs Claridge’s in London, England, the lightly decorated rooms are the epitome of style. Guests at the hotel are able to enjoy the rooftop swimming pool and soak up the California sun. But even if you are not able to book a room in this luxurious establishment, there is still a chance to relax with the stars of the city. The Terrace restaurant is a popular celeb hangout offering sumptuous al fresco dining.

Studio City Farmer’s Market

Not all places frequented by the rich and famous are quite as exclusive, of course. Los Angeles may attract the wealthy but this is a city that welcomes everyone and that means that you can bump into stars of the silver screen all over the place. The Studio City Farmers Market is a perfect example. Head to Ventura Place, between Laurel Canyon and Radford Avenue, and the market is alive with people on a Sunday, all looking to relax, soak up the good vibes, and pick out some fresh produce at the same time. Because of the location, it is a great place to catch stars going about their weekend time off business.

Musso and Frank Grill

Now for a Los Angeles institution. This food place on Hollywood Boulevard is actually the oldest restaurant downtown and has seen all the greats come through the door to enjoy its incredible grill menu. It has been here so long that it has probably starred in more movies than some of the actors who eat there. The large red booths are almost as famous as the clientele and if you sit around for long enough you are bound to enjoy the company of some of the biggest Hollywood stars. But even if you are not lucky enough to bump into the likes of George Clooney, you can always say that you have eaten in the first restaurant to have its own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Runyon Canyon

This is another LA location that proves that you don’t have to spend a lot of money to mix with the celebrities in this city. Hollywood Boulevard is only two blocks away from the entrance to the park but you can soon be out enjoying the freedom of 130 acres of trails. But your health and fitness are not the only reason why you may want to head into the relative wilderness of the city. Runyon Canyon is well known to be frequented by some of the biggest A-listers Los Angeles has to offer, taking time out from their busy schedules to make sure they still look the part for their latest Hollywood roles.

Crypto.com Arena

We weren’t joking when we said that sports stars are just as big as movie stars in Los Angeles. Head over to the Crypto.com Arena, formerly the Staples Arena, to catch a Lakers game (or maybe even the Clippers) and you could bump into Hollywood A-listers mingling with the likes of LeBron. Jack Nicholson is just one of the stars that has famously been photographed catching a game – and it almost seems like a rite of passage for any young film star these days. The Lakers used to play what was called Showtime basketball – so you know courtside is just as much as hang out as Beverly Hills.
